Feminine Touch: Personal, Post-Mastectomy Products and Support
Every woman faces challenges after breast surgery. Physical needs as well as emotional needs are equally important on the journey to feeling whole again.
At Feminine Touch, a service of BryanLGH Medical Center, we provide a comfortable, private environment where you can learn about all of your prosthesis (also called breast forms) options. We want to help you look and feel your best after breast surgery by providing a bra and breast form that's properly fitted for you.
Feminine Touch reflects our desire to go beyond treatment, providing total care for women. Our certified breast prosthesis fitters are knowledgeable and compassionate registered nurses. Speaking openly with them about your fears and concerns may help you come to terms with rebuilding your self-esteem as well as your body image.
Why a Breast Prosthesis?
Breast prostheses are worn in a special bra to simulate the look and weight of a natural breast. They are important because they help restore a woman's figure after breast surgery, as well as provide the needed weight to maintain proper body balance. Without this balance neck, back and shoulder problems could result.

- Special Skin Care Products Appropriate for Women being Treated with Chemotherapy or Radiation
- Free Filing of Insurance Papers (Medicare and most insurers offer some coverage for breast forms and bras if prescribed by your doctor.)
Appointments
You are welcome to talk with us at any time, but please consult your doctor before making an appointment for a fitting. Your doctor will know when you are ready to be fitted with a breast form. Medicare and most insurance plans require a doctor's prescription for prosthesis reimbursement.
