Visitor Services

Family and friends are encouraged to visit you during your stay. Here are a few things they may need to know when coming to BryanLGH Medical Center:

Visitor Hours:

Visiting hours are flexible and based on patient conditions. Please check with a nurse to determine if exact visiting hours exist.

Smoking:

To protect patients and visitors, smoking no longer is allowed anywhere inside or outside the medical center buildings. This policy went into effect January 2008.

Latex-Safe Environment:

For the safety of our patients, visitors and staff, the medical center is latex safe. This means we have removed all items containing latex powder, and we cannot allow latex rubber balloons in any medical center building. However, Mylar balloons are acceptable. If latex balloons are brought into one of our facilities, we will ask the visitor to return the balloons to their vehicle.

Latex allergic reactions can range from moderate irritation and discomfort to life-threatening conditions. Being latex-safe helps prevent allergic reactions and the development of the allergy over time.

Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; 4:30-7 p.m.
Snack Service and Salad Bar: 8:45-10:15 p.m.
Breakfast: 6:30-10 a.m.; Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30-6:45 p.m.; Late Night Dinner Service: 12:30-3 a.m.
Vending Machines: Available 24 Hours a Day (locations: cafeteria, third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors and at the South entrance)
Café Express: 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

BryanLGH East:
Cafeteria Location: First Floor
Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; 4:30-7 p.m.
Snacks and Beverages: 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; 4:30-6:30 p.m., 8:45-10:15 p.m. and 12:30-3 a.m.
Breakfast: 6:30-10:00 a.m.; Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Salad, Soup and Sandwich Deli: 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Dinner: 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Late Dinner: 12:30-3 a.m.
The Plaza Café (second floor BryanLGH Medical Plaza): 6:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday
Vending Machines: Available 24 Hours a Day (locations: patient floors, first floor next to cafeteria and second floor Emergency and Surgery waiting areas)
Café Express: 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday; 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Gift Shops:

Both East and West Medical Centers offer retail shops available to family and visitors.

Respite Rooms:

For information about respite rooms for family members who want a quiet place to rest or freshen up, contact the patient registrar in the emergency dept.

Check Cashing / ATM:

Checks can be cashed at both BryanLGH East and BryanLGH West in the cashier’s office located on the first floor from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday - Friday. An automatic teller machine is available on the first floor in the main lobby.
