In tribute to Dr. Louis J. Gogela, Sr., BryanLGH has established the Louis J. Gogela, Sr., MD, Neuroscience Institute. The late Dr. Gogela was a pioneer and innovator in the field of neurosurgery and an advocate for patients, the medical profession and for medical education in his specialty.
This Institute is a symbol of a renewed focus and intensity on our existing neuroscience services. The multidisciplinary neurosciences team encompasses physicians and other healthcare providers in neurology, neurosurgery, trauma, neuro oncology, neuroradiology, anesthesiology, mental health, sleep medicine, rehabilitation, research and nursing. Through the Institute, this team, available around the clock, will collaborate to offer the best patient care and practice standards including:

Ours is among the nation’s top neuroscience programs, and is designated as a Neuroscience Center of Excellence (COE), according to the 2006 Neuroscience Center of Excellence Survey, co-sponsored by NeuroSource, Inc., Chicago, Ill. and HealthTech, San Francisco, Calif.
