Cancer Support Group, 867-2004; meets fourth Tuesday of each month, 7 p.m., at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Elmwood, NE. Support group for adults to help with emotional stress of cancer.
Charlie Brown’s Kids, 483-1845; meets first and third Thursday of each month, 6-8 p.m., at 6955 Old Cheney Road. For children ages three-18 who have experienced the death of a parent. Parents' group meets concurrently.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Family Support Group, 438-2242; meets second Monday of each month, 7-8 p.m., at BryanLGH Medical Center West. A support group for adults with leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma or myelodysplastic syndrome and their family and friends.
LifeSpring Cancer Recovery Program - A special program for anyone recently diagnosed with cancer. This 12-week exercise and education series includes mind, body and spiritual aspects to help you put your life back together after a cancer diagnosis. Research shows that LifeSpring participants experience significant improvement in their quality of life, especially in reducing fatigue and depression. Sleep and pain management also are improved. Health experts including physical therapists, exercise specialists, dietitians and nurses provide education, activities and modified exercises to improve quality of life. Topics include:- Nutrition and weight changes
- Coping and stress management
- Relationships
- Cancer-related pain, fatigue and lymphedema
- Visual imagery and relaxation
- Healing arts/art therapy
- Exercises modified for cancer survivors such as Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, strength training and aerobic conditioning
